The Ohio County Circuit Clerk’s Office is a passport agency. We process passports on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
What is Needed:
- Completed application
- One (1) passport photo (we do NOT take photos)
- Original birth certificate with raised seal (this will be returned to you from the Department of State)
- Driver’s License (we will make a copy)
- If not West Virginia resident, you will need an additional form of identification, i.e., a social security card, school ID, or insurance card (must have your name on it)
- One check for your passport.
- The processing fee can be paid by cash, check, or debit/credit card.
Passport Book:
ADULTS (Age 16 and older): Cost is $130.00 for adult passport with the check made payable to: U.S. Department of State. Service fee is $35.00 with the check made payable to: Ohio County Circuit Clerk.
CHILDREN (Under age 16): Cost is $100.00 for child passport book with the check made payable to: U.S. Department of State. Service fee is the same as for adults.
Passport Cards:
ADULTS (Age 16 and older): Cost is $30.00 for adult card with check made payable to: U.S. Department of State. Service fee is $35.00 with the check made payable to: Ohio County Circuit Clerk
CHILDREN (Under age 16): Cost is $ 15.00 for children with check made payable to: U.S. Department of State. Service fee is the same as for adults.
RENEWAL OF UNEXPIRED PASSPORT: We have the application, but application is to be completed and sent in by individual requesting. Application can also be obtained on line at: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html
